Darren was born 14 weeks prematurely & weighed 2lb 5oz. He had Cerebral Palsy, Hydrocephalus & an intollerance to fats in food & milk. Darren is our 2nd child, brother to David, Daniel, & Jessica, he was such a little fighter. He was hopitalised for the first 6 months due to his prematurity & complications. Two weeks after being discharged from hospital he was rushed back to hospital to have a ventricular shunt fitted. Darren fought this illness & was allowed home two weeks later. Darren was a happy baby he never really cried, he was so brave, he had been used to pain all his little life and never once complained. Darren underwent a hernia operation two weeks after his 1st birthday & contracted Meningococcal Meningitis & Septicaemia, this was Darren's last fight against illness, we were & still are devastated at his passing away after a brief 4 day illness. We are truly honoured to have been blessed with Darren in our lives, he will live in our hearts & minds forever.
